Stir Fried Ginger and Soy Gluten2013-01-10

All nutrients necessary for human survival that are found in meat are found in fruits and vegetables as well.—Dr. John Harvey Kellogg

Ingredients:
2 cups of soy gluten pieces
2 tbsp of shredded ginger

Condiments:
1 tbsp of soy sauce paste
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oil

Steps:
1. Wash and soak the gluten pieces. When the gluten is soft, squeeze it dry. Marinate with soy sauce for 30 minutes.
2. In order to prevent the gluten from sticking to the frying pan, heat the pan until it is very hot and dry. Then turn off the heat for 2 minutes. Turn the heat back on to medium. Put oil and ginger into the pan and stir fry a bit. Add the gluten and continue to fry until the gluten has turned golden brown. Then add soy sauce paste and turn up the heat. Quickly flip the gluten pieces a few more times and then place them onto a plate.
