Baked Tomatos2013-01-10

We must keep in mind not to kill living beings. The karma of retribution does not err by even a hair’s breadth. If you kill them, they will kill you in the future; it never ends. —by Venerable Master Hsuan Hua

Ingredients:
6 Roma Tomatoes
2 Cups of Bread Crumbs

Condiments:
Oil, Salt, Sugar (measure by personal taste)
Parmesan Cheese
Butter, Pepper (optional)

Steps:
1. Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half, and scoop out all the seeds in the middle. Butter tomatoes inside and out.
2. Sprinkle salt, sugar, and pepper on top of tomatoes.
3. Mix bread crumbs with oil and pepper. Make sure they are well blended.
4. Stuff the bread crumb mixture into the tomato halves. Bake the stuffed tomatoes for 10 to 13 minutes in an oven preheated to 350°F. Take the baked tomatoes out and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Continue to bake until the cheese turns light brown.
